R-TYPE II 2 (PAL IMPORT) (GAME BOY GB)

R-Type II is a 2D side-scrolling spaceship shooter and sequel to the original R-Type. The player controls the R-9C ship, the successor to the R-9 with some weapon modifications. The Wave Cannon is now able to track enemies and there are two new weapon types: the Search Laser and the Shotgun Laser. For ground units a new anti-soil bomb can be used. The arcade game and most derivative versions of it like the Amiga contain six levels, each with its own boss. The Game Boy version has five levels and does not include the new weapons.
