PRO SPORT HOCKEY SUPER NINTENDO SNES

This hockey game features 24 NHL teams and 288 NHLPA players. The NES version contains exposure, training and a super cut mode. The SNES version has a training mode and a season mode. The practice mode of the NES version allows you to practice both offense and defense. The practice mode of the SNES version allows you to either practice in an exhibition match or take part in a shootout. The super cup is based on the round-robin format of the NES version. The teams chosen to participate in the super cup are decided by the team rankings of the season mode in the SNES version.

The game is played with a top-down view of the hockey rink, with the screen scrolling vertically as the puck carrier moves towards a net.
