The game starts in a large urban area. The night is young and a heat wave has spread through the city. A light rain sprinkles the ground as a large figure leaps across the rooftops, landing with the massive blows of a large, inhuman creature. The Predator was injured and now seeks to return to its ship before the humans find and kill it. So is the opening of Predator: Concrete Jungle.
The game begins in 1930 and shifts to the year 2030 as the player controls a predator from a third-person view in expansive levels. The Predator's arsenal includes a staff, a maul, a glaive, explosive mines, a harpoon gun and a set of claws that appear on the forearm. With these weapons, the player is able to skin, slice, stab, crush, and maim the game's many enemies, ultimately hunting down the alpha male whose skull would make a worthy prize.
