Power Rangers: Dino Thunder is a 3D action game based on the television series of the same name. The evil Mesogog wants to take the world back to the time when dinosaurs roamed the earth, by harnessing the power of the Dino Gems. To stop this evil plan from coming to fruition, three students become Dino Thunder Power Rangers, giving them control of mechanical dinosaurs known as DinoZords.
In the game, you take control of a DinoZord and must complete missions. These range from collecting items to destroying enemies to escorting and defending AI-controlled allies. Controllable Zords include the flying Ptera Zord and the walking Tricera and Tyranno Zord. During missions, the player can freely switch between them, and they are fused during boss battles into a giant robot known as the Megazord.
