POPEYE ARCADE CLASSIC SERIES (NINTENDO NES)

As Popeye, you try to win the love of Olive Oyl! She's at the top of the screen dropping tokens of her love, and you need to collect them before they hit the ground. After collecting the required number of items, you can proceed to the next, more difficult level. However, many obstacles try to prevent you from accomplishing your task! Brutus wanders around the screen and constantly tries to catch you. If you pick up a can of spinach, you can stun it temporarily, otherwise Brutus will stun you. Other objects such as bottles or birds also fly around the screen and will kill you if you get hit. Each level features a different layout of platforms and ladders, and will let you collect different items as they float down the screen!
