Pokémon Battle Revolution is the Wii iteration of Pokémon Stadium with the improved graphics one would expect. The game features full 3D single and double battles with Pokémon either from pre-made trainer passes or from monsters downloaded from your copy of Pokémon Diamond/Pearl. All 493 current Pokémon can appear in this game.
The game takes place in the city of Pokétopia, the Vegas of the Pokémon world, where battle enthusiasts come to have fun and trainers come to battle at the top. Starting from a small port under the glow of the city's neon lights, you will persevere in the fight through the many squares, lagoons and towers, until you reach the defending champion himself...
Games can also be played online against a friend, if you have their "friend code", or against a random rival somewhere in the world.
A sparse single player is included where you will face a series of opponents in each stadium. As you progress, you'll unlock new stadiums, trainer passes, and earn points. These points can be used to purchase new features or accessories for your in-game avatar.
All avatars have slogans made up of pre-selected word combinations. You will be able to modify them as well as your look to impress in online battles.
