Pointmaster Fire Control

The PointMaster Fire Control Constant Fire Adapter is a dongle that connects to Atari and compatible 9-pin joysticks that simulates holding down the fire button for games that require repeated presses of the fire button. It is designed with the Atari 2600 in mind, but will work with any system using similar joysticks. Compatibility and usefulness depend on the game; it is designed for games in which players may want to fire continuously, but the game does not allow simply holding the button and requires pressing the button for each shot. The actual rate of fire depends on what the game allows; also, for some games, constant fire may not be desirable, making the adapter unnecessary.
