PLANET COASTER (PLAYSTATION 5 PS5)

Planet Coaster is a game about designing and running a roller coaster theme park by the team that previously worked on several RollerCoaster Tycoon games, the Thrillville series, Kinect: Disneyland Adventures, and Zoo Tycoon. The player has access to a vast environment where the landscape can be sculpted to create a custom park. It is possible to shape mountains, dig lakes and tunnels, or even create floating islands in the sky. Parks and environments can be designed in great detail around specific themes such as aliens, westerns, or a medieval setting.

Much of the game is based on designing custom roller coaster rides based on a large amount of components that also include special effects, characters, and vehicles. Finally, there is also the park itself to successfully attract visitors and provide services, to ensure that they stay happy and to manage staff and finances to ensure the profitability of the park. Guest response can be measured with speed and G-force to modify rides to make them more exciting or to tone them down. Each building or service in the game can be custom designed, also for shops or ticket offices for example. Players also have the ability to share rides, landscapes, and complete parks they've built with other players as blueprints using the Steam Workshop system.
