PHOENIX WRIGHT ACE ATTORNEY (NINTENDO DS)

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney is an enhanced port of Gyakuten Saiban. This version features all the cases from the Game Boy Advance version, with the addition of a fifth case which is longer than all the previous ones and although it retains the same gameplay, it adds many new features unique to Nintendo DS such as as a microphone (to shout "Objection!" or use it to blow up fingerprint powder). Additionally, inventory in the new fifth case adds functionality to examine each item in greater detail and adds a full 3D representation of each object that can be rotated by the DS stylus or zoomed in for closer examination.

The new case continues after the original game's story ended where Miles Edgeworth was the suspect during a murder examination but was acquitted by none other than Phoenix Wright, his childhood friend and defense attorney. Maya Fey, Wright's assistant, also went to study and learn about her inherent powers of mysticism. A new case, titled "Rise from the Ashes", introduces all new characters, and Phoenix finds herself defending chief prosecutor Lana Skye who has been charged with the murder of police detective Bruce Goodman. While Lana almost admits her crime and refuses to give any information that would play in her defense, her younger sister, Ema Skye, who aspires to one day become a forensic investigator, does not give up on her sister and teams up with Phoenix in order to find out what really happened.
