Phantom 2040 is an action-adventure platform game developed by Hearst Entertainment and published by Viacom New Media in 1995 for Genesis, Super NES, and Game Gear. The game is directly based on the animated television series Phantom 2040 but follows a plot that is not strictly taken from the series. The game plays similar to the Metroid and Castlevania series.
