PES PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER 2008 (PLAYSTATION 3 PS3)

PES 2008 updates clubs and players for the 2007/2008 season, this time with clubs never featured before. Gameplay is updated so that goalkeepers can't easily catch every ball, players will trip over each other, slip and try to keep their balance, can fake fouls and hope not to get caught by the referee, etc. This time the English League has imaginary crests for unlicensed clubs such as Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and others, some other clubs still remain with proper crests. However, their player names and stats are correct. The same cannot be said for a large part of the national teams, which have players with correct statistics, but with scrambled names and more generic faces.

Gameplay is a bit easier and players don't kick the ball so high when holding the kick button too long, and dribbling is fixed and improved from last game. The modes are as usual: League (English, Italian, Spanish, French, Dutch), Master League, Exhibition, Training and Edit Mode.

Fifty-nine music tracks are provided to be assigned to play on a specific part of the game (main menu, league menu, stats screen, etc.). It is the first game in the series to appear on the PlayStation 3 platform.
