Paper Mario: Sticker Star is a video game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo, released for Nintendo 3DS in 2012. It was announced at E3 2010 during the Nintendo conference.
It is the fourth installment in the Paper Mario series, which began in 2000 for the Nintendo 64. It is also the first installment in the series to be made for a handheld console. Unlike Super Paper Mario, which primarily develops the platform aspect of the series, Paper Mario: Sticker Star takes up the gameplay of the first two Paper Marios, offering turn-based battles and using their graphic style: 2D characters and 3D environment.
