In the fourth installment of the Panzer Dragoon series, you play as Orta, a young girl imprisoned by the Empire. Under a wave of attacks, the prison camp is breached by a mysterious dragon, and Orta takes it upon herself to ride the dragon and destroy the Empire once and for all. Along the way, she will also discover her own fate and the mystery surrounding her new friend.
Simply put, you have limited control of the dragon for most of the game, as your trigger finger will non-stop fire at enemies flying through the area. Orta will be your primary source of firepower when you just press the fire button, but pressing and holding will change the aiming slider, allowing you to fire a burst of dragon power at anything the slider is targeting .
The dragon itself can transform into three forms at the press of a button. Each form has a different attack style and power capacity.
A port of the original Panzer Dragoon is included.
