Overlord: Dark Legend is an action role-playing game developed by Climax Action and published by Codemasters for the Wii. The game was released on June 23, 2009 in North America, June 26 in Europe, and July 2 in Australia.
Dark Legend is a spin-off from the 2007 video game Overlord, and is set as a prequel. The gameplay is similar to Overlord, but has some differences. Although the game lacks several features from the original game or its sequel, Overlord II, it does feature new content and a new playstyle that takes advantage of the Wii controller.
