OPERATION FLASHPOINT: RED RIVER (XBOX 360 X360)

In Operation Flashpoint: Red River, players take control of Outlaw-2-Bravo, a United States Marine Corps squad during a fictional conflict in Tajikistan in 2013. A terrorist group known as the ETIM launches mortar attacks against a US FOB in Afghanistan, prompting the US to launch Operation Enduring Shield, instructing the Marine Corps to invade western Tajikistan and eliminate the insurgent threat. Later in the conflict, the People's Liberation Army of neighboring China intervenes and attacks American and terrorist forces. The majority of the game's events depict the Marine Corps' desperate struggle against overwhelming China.

The gameplay is pretty much what you would expect from an Operation Flashpoint game. The player can choose between four classes of Marines to play as Rifleman, Grenadier, Scout, and Auto Rifleman, each with their own unique weapons and abilities. He gains experience during gameplay, which can be used to unlock weapons, attachments, and perks. Enemies are capable of killing the player with a single hit, depending on the area hit. Using the team members available to the player in the right way is vital for success. The player also has the choice to play the campaign cooperatively.
