OMERTA: CITY OF GANGSTERS (XBOX 360 X360)

Omerta: City of Gangsters is a strategy game set in Atlantic City in the 1920s, a time of prohibition, speakeasies, and gangsters. The player takes the role of an immigrant newly arrived in Atlantic City from a small village in Sicily, starting from the bottom and working your way up the ranks of the Atlantic City mafia.

In the game, players try to become as powerful as possible within the mafia. To do this, players can purchase many types of establishments ranging from apartment complexes to speakeasies that not only increase income, but also increase your grip on the city. As the game progresses, the option to recruit your own small gang is available. With this option open, players can raid other godfathers and neighboring gangs to further increase the amount of territory you command. These battles are where the game becomes turn-based with light role-playing elements. Characters have individual characteristics and a custom loadout can be equipped. Different attack modes can be chosen and there is a cover system. The game features cooperative and multiplayer games as well as a sandbox mode, where you are free to explore and interact with the world on your own, opening up the game for much more gameplay.
