OCEAN CITY DEFENDER (ZELLERS) (ATARI 2600)

The lost city of Atlantis is under attack! Wave after wave of Gorgon ships approach, each armed with weapons capable of destroying part of the city. You are in charge of the command posts on the outskirts of the city and must defend it against invaders. The different gorgonian gear will continue to fly across the screen in varying numbers and in different flight patterns. At first they fly high in the sky, then gradually descend. If an enemy lowers it enough before you destroy it, it will use its weapons and destroy one of the buildings in Atlantis. As you progress through the game, the enemy craft will continue to increase in speed. The game ends when all the remaining buildings in the city have been destroyed.
