No Man's Sky is a cross-platform sandbox science fiction video game developed and published by Hello Games, released on August 10 and 12, 2016, respectively, for PlayStation 4 and PC, and in 2018 for Xbox One. The universe in which the player evolves is created procedurally: the universe to be explored by the player(s) is generated as they progress.
