Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (stylized Ninja Gaiden Σ2), is an enhanced port of the Ninja Gaiden II video game. It is developed by Team Ninja and published by Tecmo Koei in 2009 exclusively for PlayStation 3.
It includes the entire original story mode, plus additional content brought to improve the game, with updated textures and 720p resolution. The game can be considered a spiritual sequel to Ninja Gaiden Sigma, in the sense that it complements the original installment in the same way.
A port for PlayStation Vita, titled Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus is planned for the beginning of 2013.
