Ninja Gaiden II is a beat 'em up video game developed by Team Ninja and published by Tecmo in 2008 for Xbox 360.
The game was not released in Germany due to strict USK rules on violent video games. Also, even though it's technically the sequel to Ninja Gaiden released on Xbox, the story takes place after the Nintendo DS episode titled Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword, 6 months later to be precise.
An enhanced version, dubbed Ninja Gaiden Σ 2 (pronounced Sigma), was released for the PlayStation 3.
