Ninja Blade is an action video game developed by FromSoftware, released in 2009 on Xbox 360 and Windows.

In 2011, a small village in South America was attacked by unknown creatures. While inspecting the survivors, a new type of hookworm was discovered and classified as an "Alpha Worm." These parasites cannot be combated by any known medication and spread through the bloodstream of their victims, rewriting their genetic code and transforming them into much more powerful monsters. They escaped from the research facility, and the situation quickly spiraled out of control, leading to the dropping of an atomic bomb on the site. Since then, several outbreaks have been contained worldwide, all of which were stopped by the GUIDE Squad, a special forces unit composed of Ninjas specially trained for these outbreaks.
