Nickelodeon Party Blast is a party game for up to four players featuring Nicktoons characters from Nickelodeon. Game modes are Blast, Replay, Cup Challenge and Party Play (multiplayer only). There are several game modes in which characters must complete stages through different events. The eight playable characters are Angelica, Invader Zim, Spongebob, Eliza Thornberry, Otto Rocket, Reggie Rocket, and Jimmy Neutron. They are from the Invader Zim, Jimmy Neutron, Rocket Power, Rugrats, SpongeBob SquarePants and Wild Thornberrys series.
A game usually consists of several types of stages around a mini-game with a boss at the end. There's Food Fight where characters throw food at each other in a single-screen environment, there's a squirting game called Squirt and Splash, a basketball game mixed with skating elements, Pipe Challenge where pipes need to be assembled to explode rockets, racing game and so on. There are also bonus stages with different gameplay. Stars can be earned to unlock additional cups as a series of stages.
