One of the first competitors in the EA Sports NHL series, NHL Powerplay '96 features motion-captured players, an NHL Players' Association license, a variety of management options, and the ability to play games. seasons and tournaments. This is the first NHL game to include a World Tournament mode where NHL players can compete on their respective national teams.
