New to the 2K6 edition is Crease Control, which lets you take direct control of the goalie and slow everything down for a few seconds, giving you time to find where the puck is and prepare a backup.
NHL 2K6 has a full feature set, including Franchise Mode, Exhibition, ProControl, On-the-Fly Coaching, Enforcer System, and of course, Xbox Live Multiplayer.
Most of the rule changes adopted by the NHL following last season's lockout are incorporated into the game.
