The game modes offered include Main Campaign, Original Campaign, Mini-Campaigns, and Single Scenario.
The main campaign tells how, in the 21st century, mankind colonized the moon. In 2089, an invading Xenon Empire destroys several lunar outposts. Nectaris Base, the largest of the lunar outposts was not completely destroyed and a few units escaped alive and are now planning a counterattack on the Xenon Empire. It is now up to the player who assumes the role of commander of the Union forces to defeat the enemy Xenon forces.
