MR. DO!'S CASTLE (COLECOVISION CV)

MR. Do!'s Castle is an action platformer that puts you in a castle with multiple floors, each containing a variety of blocks. You control Mr. Do! the clown who has a hammer that can be used to knock the blocks off the ground. Roaming all over the castle, deadly unicorns are constantly trying to catch you. Your objective is to earn as many points as possible and progress through increasingly difficult castles.

There are two ways to complete a castle; you can either destroy all deadly unicorns by crushing them with blocks or eliminate all blocks with a cherry symbol. In addition to the cherry blocks, there are three blocks with a key. If all three key blocks are knocked out, the door on the castle roof unlocks. If you get to the door, all unicorns will temporarily become harmless and contain a letter. If you hit a unicorn letter, you will earn a letter in the word EXTRA. Spell the full word and you'll earn an extra life.

The last type of block you will come across has a skull on it. If you eliminate two skull blocks, all blocks between them will also be eliminated and replaced by a bridge. As the castles progress, the castle layout will become trickier and the unicorns will become faster and more numerous.
