Mortal Kombat (commonly abbreviated as MK) is a video game from Midway Manufacturing Company released on arcade machine in 1992 famous for its violence, its brutality and its gore side.
The story centers on a tournament called Mortal Kombat organized by the evil wizard Shang Tsung.
The game was very successful which led to a second installment, Mortal Kombat II in 1993.
