Mirror's Edge is an action-adventure video game developed by Swedish studio DICE and published by Electronic Arts. The game was announced on July 10, 2007, and released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in November 2008. A Windows version was released on January 13, 2009. Mirror's Edge is based on the UnrealEngine 3 engine and an all-new lighting system , developed by Illuminate Labs in association with DICE.
