It was announced during the Nintendo Direct on February 17, 2021 that the game will be available in a remastered version with some new features (like mii makeup or horses) on Nintendo Switch from May 21, 2021. Moreover, as for the version on Nintendo 3DS, a free demo is available worldwide from April 27 on Nintendo eShop.
