Metroid: Fusion (or simply Fusion, along with Metroid IV and Metroid 4) is a two-dimensional action-adventure video game developed by Nintendo R&D1 and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance on November 19, 2002 in the United States, the November 22, 2002 in Europe and February 14, 2003 in Japan.

Bounty hunter Samus Aran becomes infected with X-parasites while on a routine mission to planet SR388. She is saved from death by the Galactic Federation medics, who remove her infected armor and inject her with DNA from the Last Metroid in order to heal her. As soon as he recovers, the Federation sends him to the Biometrix research space station, with the aim of eradicating the Xs who have completely colonized it. Guided by the on-board computer, Adam Malkovich's consciousness, Samus takes down the X threat, a final omega metroid and the SA-X, a clone of herself created by the Xs, then blows up the station. The game offers bonus content through connectivity with Metroid Prime, using the Nintendo GameCube-Game Boy Advance Cable.
