You're a warrior in the war, but now you're alone. Enemies have captured your allied troops, and it's up to you to get them back. Armed to the teeth with firearms, grenades, and specially designed "Slug" vehicles, you must travel through the levels and blow up anything that isn't friendly.
Two characters are offered to play as, and along with Metal Slug's usual visual flair and epic battle sequences against strange and surprising enemies, you can now collect special e-cards during the game. Rescued allies will give you these cards which, when brought back to camp, can increase ammo, power, and many other improvements to alter the gameplay experience.
