Mass Effect: Andromeda is an action-RPG third-person shooter video game developed by Bioware Montreal and published by Electronic Arts, released in March 2017 on Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It was officially announced on June 15, 2015 during the Electronic Arts press conference at E3 2015. Mass Effect: Andromeda is set 600 years after the original trilogy in a new galaxy, the Andromeda Galaxy, from which the game takes its name.
