Super Mario Stadium Baseball (known as Super Mario Stadium Family Baseball in Japan and Mario Super Sluggers in the United States and Canada) is a baseball video game released for the Wii on August 25, 2008, developed by Namco Bandai and published by Nintendo. It is the sequel to Mario Superstar Baseball on GameCube.
Nintendo announced that the game would not be released in Europe, where baseball is much less popular than in America or Japan. The only way to obtain it is therefore to import it, a version translated into French having been released in Canada. Its predecessor was nevertheless released on the Old Continent.
