Mario Party 9 is a party game type video game developed by Nd Cube and released by Nintendo for the Wii on March 2, 2012. It is the ninth main installment in the Mario Party series and the second to be released for the Wii. It follows Mario Party 8 and precedes Mario Party 10. Like its predecessor, Mario Party 9 takes advantage of Wiimote functionality.
