Mario Party 8 (Mario Pāti Eito?) is a party game type video game developed by Hudson Soft and published by Nintendo. Released in 2007 on Wii, it is part of the Mario Party series. It is the only game in the series to allow play as a Mii and the first to take advantage of Wiimote functionality. It follows Mario Party 7 and precedes Mario Party 9.
