Mario and Sonic at the Olympics is a sports video game developed by Nintendo SPD and Sega Sports R&D. It is published by Nintendo and Sega. The game is officially authorized by the International Olympic Committee by a license to become an official video game on the Olympic Games and it is the first official video game of the 2008 Summer Olympics. It is the first crossover bringing together characters from the Mario and Sonic universes. It was released for Wii in November 2007 and for Nintendo DS in January 2008.
