The Monk Emperor of Pandora has begun attacking out-of-sector settlements, stealing vital gold reserves from free systems. The Federated Hegemonies have no choice but to ask the Lode Runners to stop the raids and end the Emperor's rule.
Unable to use the full fleet on the Emperor's defenses, which would cause massive casualties, they decide that a single Lode Runner should enter the enemy base to collect all the gold found and destroy the Emperor.
From an isometric style perspective, you must guide Lode Runner through each of the levels, dodging defensive blocks and enemies while placing bombs and punching holes in the ground to find another way around. By finding all the gold in the level, you can then advance to the next level.
