In Little King's Story, you start as a boy who becomes the king of the kingdom of Alpoko by finding a magic crown. At first, few adults follow you, but thanks to the power of the crown, over time you will get more followers and expand your kingdom until you unify the whole world.
The game combines life simulation, RTS and RPG elements into the game. You control the Little King and you can command your subjects to follow you in a similar way to the game Pikmin, sending them to build, destroy or fight things the same way. Your subjects start out as careless adults who do nothing, but as the game progresses you can buy buildings where you can train them into different classes of jobs that you will need to fight bosses in the game or to pass the different puzzles.
