Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2 is an action-adventure video game in the Legacy of Kain series, developed by Crystal Dynamics, released for PC and PlayStation 2 in 2001.
The player embodies Raziel, a "Vampire of Souls" who wants revenge on Kain for having him thrown into the Lake of the Dead and damned forever. The game offers a gothic and violent atmosphere, where the hero sees his fellow beings being massacred and the Kingdom sinking into decay.
