KNIGHTS IN THE NIGHTMARE (PSP PORTABLE PLAYSTATION)

Knights in the Nightmare can be considered a tactical role-playing game, although it features several unusual gameplay elements for the genre. The game is controlled almost entirely by the stylus on the Nintendo DS, and combines active-time turn-based combat, somewhat reminiscent of Final Fantasy, as well as real-time strategy games, with shoot-'em-up sequences, relying on a set of unorthodox requirements to successfully complete its battles.

Once on the battlefield, the player controls the Wisp, which can cause the spirits of fallen heroes inhabiting the area to temporarily reincarnate into their physical form and fight monsters that now roam the land. The player can permanently recruit these warriors into their party by searching for objects that meant something to them while alive.
