Dream Land's first annual Avalanche Competition is about to begin, and as Kirby and a host of characters from the Kirby series, you can join the tournament and become King Avalanche.
Kirby's Avalanche is a variation of Puyo Puyo and lets you stack colored drops similar to those in Tetris. When a certain amount of a color is stacked, an explosion occurs and the screen clears of these blobs, which then appear on the screen of other players (either the CPU or a second player). When the other player's screen is so full of blobs that they can't make any more moves, you move on to the next round, and so on until the final boss. The winner of this game is then crowned King of the Avalanche.
