Kinect Sports is a sports video game developed by Rare and published by Microsoft Games Studios for Xbox 360. It was released in November 2010 with the launch of the Kinect peripheral with which it is compatible.
The game is similar to Wii Sports released on Wii in 2006, and Sports Champions, available on PlayStation 3 since September 15, 2010. It offers to take part in several sports activities, including beach volleyball, football, table tennis , boxing, bowling and athletics. The game was released on November 4, 2010 in the United States1, and November 10, 2010 in France.
A sequel based on the same premise, Kinect Sports Season 2, was released in October 2011.
