JIMMY HOUSTON'S BASS TOURNAMENT USA SUPER NINTENDO SNES

A game that simulates the sport of bass fishing. It offers both a practice mode and a tournament mode. In tournament mode, players must reel in big bass and then weigh in up to five of their biggest catches. Competitors are ranked according to who brought the heaviest haul and the player must place at least third in the weigh-in in order to advance to the next stage of the tournament.

Practice mode allows the player to fish without all the pressures of the tournament. Players can choose from one of four different US lakes, with each lake having multiple spots to fish. Players also have the option to select the month in which they wish to fish and choose from six different weather conditions.

While on the lake, players steer their boat to where they want to cast their line. Players can also choose which lures and tackle they want to use. Next, players must use a meter that measures the strength of the line that will be thrown. At this point players finally have the chance to catch some big bass.

The game features Shimano branded rods and reels and also features tips from champion angler Jimmy Houston.
