Germany is growing its war machine to conquer the world. To quickly accomplish this goal, their evil leaders have sent spies around the world with instructions to purchase the best military weapon technologies. The player is the young Indiana Jones and he is informed by Agent Rolf that friendly French agents are aware of these tasks and the countries the spies will visit. Spies must be arrested in each country before the sale of technology takes place.
The mission takes the young Indy to India, Tibet, Egypt and England before finally arriving in Germany. In 2D side-scrolling levels, Indy uses his whip, revolver, grenades, and walking/jumping ability to progress through levels with small puzzle elements. Enemies can be attacked or avoided and actions can be performed in eight directions. There are different mini-objectives such as whipping keystones to open the temple door from the Indian market or bombing a bridge gearbox.
There are three difficulty levels. The number of lives can be adjusted.
