In 1994, three games based on the Hurricanes license were released; one for the Sega Mega Drive, one for the Sega Game Gear, and one for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. The Sega ports were exclusively released in Europe, while the SNES version was the only release to have a North American release. All versions of the game were published by US Gold. Development of the Sega versions was handled by Arc Developments, while the SNES version was developed by Probe Entertainment.
