You have been chosen to join the Settlement of Scores - you must enter the world of darkness where humanity is ravaged by vampires and marauding monsters. As a hunter, you are immune to the illusions of these beasts, but with your power comes a daunting destiny: to destroy these evil beings before humanity is slaughtered.
Hunter takes place over 23 different stages in which you and up to three of your friends can wield up to twenty different weapons against a horde of enemies. Each player chooses one of four classes: Avenger, Martyr, Defender or Judge. Each has different strengths and weaknesses as well as their own set of spells. The gameplay can very well be compared to Gauntlet games, where you face countless odds while building your own characters in order to defeat the ultimate evil.
