1000 years ago, the city of Kyo was suddenly invaded by aliens. A Kebiishi (knight of the past) was charged with defending the city.
The game starts with a labyrinth where the kebiishi and some aliens appear. The aliens begin to move around the maze wherever they please. While trying not to get eaten, the kebiishi digs holes where aliens will likely travel. If an alien arrives in a finished hole, it will fall into it and be trapped for a period of time. While the alien is trapped in the hole, you can fill the hole to bury it. If all the aliens are buried, the round ends and you can move on to the next round.
The Game Boy version includes both the original arcade version as well as an enhanced version with new graphics and original features such as a super alien who has special powers, moves to avoid holes, and chases the keibiishi. Two players can play via the video link cable.
