Guitar Hero II is a rhythm game released in 2006 for PlayStation 2 and 2007 for Xbox 360. It is part of the Guitar Hero series and is a sequel to Guitar Hero released the previous year.
More graphically advanced than the first opus in the series, this version is particularly suitable for 16:9 televisions. The duel mode has been greatly improved with 3 variations: "duel" (as in Guitar Hero), "duel pro" (both players play the same score), and "co-op" (players play two different instruments - main guitars, rhythm and/or bass).
