It is the ninth game in the Grand Theft Auto series, preceded by Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and followed by Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. It is published and distributed by Capcom in Japan. It was ported to PlayStation 3 via PlayStation Network on April 2, 2013.
