Gran Turismo 5 (commonly abbreviated as GT5) is the fifth installment in the Gran Turismo car simulation video game series. Developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, the game was officially unveiled for PlayStation 3 on November 24, 2010. Gran Turismo 5 is the first installment in the series to be developed for PlayStation 3 and has sold nearly 11 million copies.
